Christmas concerts coming up at schools

A host of local schools will have Christmas concerts coming up this month. Here’s a look at what’s on tap:

• Columbia Falls High School (Little Theater)

Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. - Symphonic Band, Jazz Factory, Percussion Tech, Cantelina, Tres Belles

Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. — Jazz Cafe at the Cedar Creek Lodge featuring Columbians, Sonifers and Jazz Factory

Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. – Featuring wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, Columbians and Columbia chorale and Sonifers

Dec. 20 — Sonifers Christmas caroling through town

• Deer Park School (gym)

Dec. 14 – dinner at 5:30 p.m. with performance at 6:30

• Ruder Elementary (gym)

Dec. 20 at 1:15 p.m. – kindergarten and first grade

Dec. 21 at 9 a.m. – fourth and fifth grades

Dec. 21 at 10:15 a.m. – Second and third grades

• Glacier Gateway

Glacier Gateway first and second grades first and second grades and Mr. Birky’s and Mrs. Cox’s third grades will perform their Christmas program in the high school Little Theater on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 10:30 a.m.

Glacier Gateway fifth and fourth grades and Mrs. Caudill’s and Mr. Miller’s third grades will present their Christmas performance in the high school Little Theater on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 1:30 p.m.

• Columbia Falls Junior High

Band Dec. 12 starting with sixth grade at 6 p.m. and seventh and eighth grades at 7 p.m.

Choir Dec. 14 with sixth grade at 6 p.m. and seventh and eighth grade at 7:30 p.m.
