Those seeking employment in the area now have a new resource as LC Staffing has opened its newest location in downtown Columbia Falls.

Located at the corner of Nucleus Avenue and 7th Street West, the new location represents a bit of a new approach for the company, whose three other offices are located in the much larger communities of Kalispell, Missoula and Bozeman.

“We have had our eye on Columbia Falls for a while. We have noticed that it is a thriving and growing community. When the building we are in was built, we decided it was a unique opportunity for us to set up downtown in a great location,” owner Kristen Heck said. “We are excited about the growth in Columbia Falls and we wanted to support that and be a part of it.”

According to Heck, LC Staffing has already worked with a large part of the workforce in the area, including helping Glacier National Park hire more than 80 shuttle drivers each summer, and the new location will help cut down on drive time.

“It will be much more convenient for a lot of people we serve with our new location closer to the park. We also have a lot of staff members in the area and this cuts down on their commute as well,” Heck said.

The new location also has unique interior decorations, highlighting the history of the workforce in Columbia Falls.

“We designed the interior to reflect our respect of the industrial arts. There are custom-made glass, steel and wood materials in the interior,” Heck said. “Historic images provided by the Hungry Horse News have been printed on metal sheets and showcase the talent and work ethic of the Columbia Falls community.”

Operating since 1985, LC Staffing is Montana’s largest independently owned staffing firm. Headquartered in Kalispell, the certified Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), was originally started to serve the area’s timber industry, but expanded its recruiting services as the valley continued to evolve and bring in new business.

The company opened its Missoula office in 1990 and its Bozeman location in 1995.

LC Staffing opened its doors in Columbia Falls March 4 and is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with after-hours appointments available.

The new location will host a grand opening Tuesday, March 26, which will include a Business After Hours with the Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce and a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. Doors open at 5 p.m. with light appetizers, beer and wine being served until 7 p.m.
