The Wildcats picked up a pile of post-season honors last week as Class A announced its All-State and All-Conference selections.

After a season in which the Cats went 8-2 and reached the state quarterfinals, the Wildcats picked up 11 of 16 Northwest A All-State selections and placed 23 on the All-Conference team.

Running back and linebacker Colten McPhee was an All-State selection and was also named the Northwest Conference offensive and defensive player of the year after setting a school record with 2,003 yards while also leading the team in tackles.

Joining McPhee on the All-State team were Drew Morgan (quarterback), Jakob Beich (offensive tackle), Zack Pletcher (defensive end), Brad Nieves (outside linebacker), Gage Karlin (guard), Tanner Gove (linebacker), Parker Greene (outside linebacker), Lane Sapa (safety), Brayden Stone (safety) and Taylor Gladeau (center).

The Cats’ 23 All-Conference selections included the top spot at every position except tight end as 20 players were named to the first team, two to the second team and one was an honorable mention selection.

Offensive first team selections included Gladeau (center), Karlin (guard), Gove (guard), Beich (tackle), Pletcher (tackle), Morgan (quarterback), McPhee (running back), Nieves (fullback) and Auguste Emond (kicker). Green was a second-team selection at tight end and Sapa was an honorable mention selection at wide receiver.
